1. Who we are
JobGlobal runs this website and is responsible for the personal information you give us here. Questions about your information go to our team through the Help Center.
2. What we collect
From job seekers: your name, phone number or email, the details you add to your Career Passport, your CV and documents if you upload them, your applications and the messages you send.
From employers: your company details, verification documents, team members, job posts, payments and messages.
Automatically: your language, a device cookie that keeps your sign-in and our limits working, and basic logs of what was requested, kept to protect the service.
3. How we use it
To show you jobs, send your applications to the employers you choose, run interviews, offers and messages, keep accounts secure, stop scams, take payments and answer support requests.
We do not sell your information and we do not show advertising based on it.
4. Advanced AI
Advanced AI suggests jobs, explains how well you match, reads a CV you allow us to read, and drafts text. Religion, caste, age, gender, marital status, photos and similar traits are removed before any ranking.
You can turn advanced AI off at any time in your privacy settings. Your applications then reach employers unranked.
5. Who sees your information
An employer sees an application only when you apply to their job, and only the details shared with that application. Employers never see your other applications.
If your Career Passport is set to be findable, verified employers can find it. You can make it private, or hide it from particular companies.
Service providers that host our systems, send messages and process payments handle information only on our instructions.
6. Keeping it safe
Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored on servers we control, with access limited to the people who need it. Staff access is recorded.
7. How long we keep it
Applications for a closed job: 24 months, then made anonymous. CVs no longer used: 12 months. Messages: 24 months after a conversation is archived. Copilot conversations: 90 days.
Sign-in codes: 7 days. Records of what you agreed to and our security logs are kept longer, because the law and your own protection need them.
8. Your choices and rights
Download a copy of your information, correct it, withdraw an optional permission, or delete your account, all from your privacy settings.
Deleting your account takes effect after 7 days. Signing in during that time cancels it. After that, your personal details are removed and employers keep only an anonymous record of past applications.
9. Cookies
We use only the cookies JobGlobal needs to work: your sign-in, your language and a device cookie that protects against abuse. No advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Age
JobGlobal is for people aged 18 and over.
11. If you live in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland
If you live there, the data protection law there (the GDPR, the UK GDPR or Switzerland's data protection act) also protects you, and we follow it for your data.
Why we may use your data: to provide the service you ask for (our agreement with you); with your consent where we ask for it, such as being found by employers, an Autopilot rule or an identity check, which you can withdraw at any time; and for our legitimate interest in keeping JobGlobal safe and free of scams, balanced against your rights.
Your rights: to see your data and take a copy elsewhere (Download my data), to correct it, to have it deleted, to limit or object to how it's used (including our advanced AI), and not to be judged only by an automated decision. On JobGlobal, people always make the hiring decisions.
Where your data goes: our servers are in India (Mumbai), with backups elsewhere, and the employers you apply to may be in Bangladesh or other countries. We protect these transfers with contract terms approved for the purpose.
Questions or complaints: write to privacy@jobglobal.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
12. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes in a way that matters, we publish a new version with its date and tell members before it applies.
