Five signs of a job scam
Updated 8 October 2026
Most employers on JobGlobal are real. These five signs help you spot the ones that aren't.
1. They ask you for money
"Processing fee", "registration fee", "training fee", "uniform fee", sent by bKash or Nagad. Real employers never ask for money to apply, interview or start work. Applying on JobGlobal is always free.
2. The salary is too good to be true
A high salary for little work or no experience is a common trick to rush you.
3. They move you off JobGlobal too early
Be careful if someone asks you to continue on Telegram, IMO or a personal WhatsApp before any interview. Keep talking in your JobGlobal conversation, where messages are checked for scams and you can report them.
4. The company has no verification level
Every company on JobGlobal shows a level from T0 to T3. Open the company's profile from Companies and check its level and how long it has been active. Read how we verify employers.
5. They ask for your NID, bank details or a code up front
Nobody needs your NID or bank details before an offer. Never share a one-time code (OTP) sent to your phone. JobGlobal staff will never ask for your password or a code.
If you see a sign
- Don't pay and don't share codes.
- Report the job or company. You can do it without an account, and the company won't know it was you.
- Read staying safe in messages.
