Your data and privacy
Updated 8 October 2026
What we store
- Your account: name, mobile number, email if you give it, and how you sign in.
- Your Career Passport and CVs, if you add them.
- Your applications: answers, files and the stage history.
- Messages with employers.
- Your consents: what you agreed to and when, such as sharing an application with an employer.
Employers see only what you share with their job. They never see your other applications, and your phone and email stay hidden until you share them or reach the interview stage.
How long we keep it
- Applications: 24 months after the job closes, then anonymised so they no longer identify you.
- CVs you haven't used: 12 months of inactivity.
- Messages: 24 months after the conversation is archived.
Ranking and your privacy
Protected details such as gender, religion and age are removed before any ranking. See match reasons.
Your choices
- Choose who can find your profile in your Career Passport. It starts private if you began as a guest.
- Choose how we contact you in notification settings.
- See where you're signed in, and add a passkey, in Security.
Deleting your account
Ask us through support. There's a 7-day cooling-off period in case you change your mind. After that, your personal data is deleted, and the records employers hold about your applications are anonymised.
