Why do I see match reasons and gaps?
Updated 8 October 2026
When JobGlobal ranks jobs for you, or ranks applicants for an employer, it always explains why.
What you see
- Why you fit: the skills, experience or preferences that match the job.
- Gaps: what the job asks for that your Passport doesn't show yet, so you know what to add or learn.
- Based on: the details each reason comes from, such as something you stated or something from your CV.
- A short explanation in Bangla and English.
We never show a bare score on its own. A number without reasons doesn't help you decide, and it can hide mistakes.
What we never use
Before any ranking, we remove protected details such as gender, religion and age, and similar personal information. They are not used to rank you, for jobs or for employers.
The employer decides, not the ranking
Advanced AI helps write these explanations, but it only suggests. It never moves your application, rejects you or sends a message by itself. A person at the company makes every decision, and employers see the same reasons in words.
Improve your matches
- Keep your Career Passport up to date.
- Add your skill levels and languages.
- Fill a gap you can honestly close, such as a missing skill you already have.
If a reason looks wrong, check the detail it's based on in your Passport and correct it there.
