How do I withdraw an application?
Updated 8 October 2026
Changed your mind? You can withdraw an application at any time.
How to withdraw
- Open the application. Without an account, use the tracking link from your SMS (see how to track your application). With an account, go to My applications and open the job.
- Choose Withdraw.
- Pick a reason if you want to, and confirm.
On a new phone, you may first be asked for a code sent to your number. This keeps anyone else from withdrawing your application.
What happens next
- Your application shows as Withdrawn.
- The employer is told that you withdrew. They don't see your other applications.
- Any open conversation for that application stays readable for your records.
Before you withdraw
- If you're only worried because you haven't heard back, the tracking page shows how quickly this employer usually replies. After 21 days without a reply, it suggests either waiting or withdrawing.
- If you've received an offer you don't want, you can also decline it from the offer itself. See offers.
- If you withdraw because the employer asked you for money, please also report the job.
